Founded in 2002 by Daysi Cepeda, Educator, Creativo Dance Studio has spent over 25 years developing versatile dancers and confident leaders in Miami.
Our mission is to provide exceptional training in diverse dance techniques while cultivating the self-esteem, discipline, and teamwork essential for success on stage and beyond. We believe performance is a platform for personal growth — where students learn to trust themselves, support one another, and lead with confidence.
Many of our students have advanced to become teachers, choreographers, and leaders in the arts. This reflects our commitment to training dancers whose skills and character extend far beyond the studio.
Through competition team, recreational classes, and after-school programs, we create an environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Founder & Director, Creativo Dance Studio
Daysi Cepeda
Daysi Cepeda founded Creativo Dance Studio in 2002 with one purpose: to build confident leaders through the art of dance.
A graduate of Florida International University and alumna of New World School of the Arts, Daysi's impact started at Miami Dade College. She served as an Adjunct Professor and directed the community education dance program for children, bringing quality training to families on campus for 10 years.
For 20+ years, Daysi has taken that same mission from MDC to libraries, community centers, schools, and parks across Miami. Wherever there's a child who needs access to the arts, Creativo's shows up.
Today Creativo continues what started at Miami Dade College: training dancers with heart, technique, and purpose. Because every student who walks in deserves the tools to become a leader on stage and in life.
